OverToasted Labs is a Brazilian independent game studio focused on creating memorable local multiplayer experiences for 4+ players. Founded by passionate developers with relevant industry experience, the studio combines creative experimentation, strong gameplay design, and a focus on creating fun, chaotic moments that bring people together.
The studio’s mission is to create accessible and expressive multiplayer games where players can easily jump in, compete, laugh, and create unforgettable stories together.
Currently, OverToasted Labs is developing Slap Showdown, a physics-driven party brawler that transforms the simple act of slapping into chaotic multiplayer fun, built around unexpected moments and shared experiences.

Story
OverToasted Labs was founded in 2024 after its founder, Marisardo Medeiros, recognized a growing gap in the market: while online multiplayer continued to dominate, there were surprisingly few high-quality games designed for groups of four or more players sharing the same room. Countless game nights with friends and family reinforced the idea that local multiplayer still creates some of gaming's most memorable moments.
What began as a personal vision quickly attracted other experienced developers who shared the same passion for gameplay-first design and social experiences. Together, they set out to build games that are easy to pick up, endlessly replayable, and designed to spark laughter, competition, and unforgettable stories.
Today, OverToasted Labs is focused on building games that celebrate couch multiplayer, with Slap Showdown marking the studio's first step toward that vision.
